Brimming with inspiration

I have been so inspired lately by nothing in particular, just my lovely simple life allowing me to sow and harvest creativity. My life lately has been overflowing with ideas and projects small and large. Some of these projects are very long term and it can be difficult to stay creative in my mundane life if I don't keep myself playful with small fun side quests. Lately I can't keep up with myself, I wake up and go to sleep with a gazillion ideas. The trick is actually getting off my bum and acting on those ideas or they are worth no more than vapour.

I'm so proud of myself because I have been acting on these ideas. I have a great rhythm at the moment that allows me to organise my projects and side quests into logistically realistic visions that manifest themselves according to design and strategic plan if I just show up, go through the motions and do the actual work.

My current plans have been inspired by German fairy tales (think Struwwelpeter), mermaids and camouflage to name a few. The other day I found a gum nut that inspired a doll and last week a broken sea shell that inspired a bio-organic sleeve tattoo design.

I get inspired by almost anything - ALMOST

I am not inspired by empty wank words or the "gurus" who throw them around to collect sycophants to populate their echo chambers. Those cringey, empty social media platitudes actually demotivate me and could suck inspiration out of anyone. I don't get inspired by hearing a mixture of random buzzwords thrown together. I don't get inspired by celebrity doublespeak. What inspires you? Are you in a creative slump?
